Licensed Veterinary Technician – Hamilton Animal Hospital

Immediate opening for a fifth licensed or licensed eligible technician for modern, rapidly growing practice in historic village of Hamilton, NY.  Our LVT’s are responsible for facilitating all aspects of both surgical and outpatient cases including administering and monitoring anesthetics, assisting in surgery,  restraint, obtaining lab samples and performing ordered tests, taking radiographs, communicating with clients in regards to surgical/hospitalized cases, and client education.  A competitive salary commensurate with experience is offered. Benefits include paid time off, 401(k) plan, medical plan, continuing ed allowance.   The Hamilton Animal Hospital is NYSVMS accredited providing service for dogs, cats and exotics.  Our present staff consists of two veterinarians, four LVT’s and five support personnel.  Hamilton is a beautiful, historic village in central NY.  It is home of Colgate University and Community Memorial Hospital which draw the arts, entertainment and social life to our community.  Hamilton is surrounded by lakes and horse country.  It is close to the cities of Syracuse and Utica, the Finger Lakes region and the Adirondack Mountains.  Interested candidates should contact Francis S.
